Growing up in a home filled with pets—from turtles and fish to sugar gliders, cats, and dogs—I developed a deep and lasting passion for working with animals. That passion has shaped the direction of my professional life, and I’ve been fortunate to turn it into a fulfilling career.

I currently serve as a foster for the Sioux Falls Humane Society, where I work with cats who have medical or behavioral challenges, helping them heal and prepare for adoption. For the past year, I’ve been professionally caring for animals full-time at a local boarding facility. This experience has only reinforced my commitment to animal care and confirmed that this is the career path I want to pursue long-term. I’ve gained valuable, hands-on experience with pets of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments—including those with special needs and requiring medication.

To further my knowledge and better serve the animals in my care, I’m pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology, with a focus on animal health and well-being.

As a cat parent to four of my own, I’m very familiar with the dynamics of multi-cat households and have experience managing and resolving behavioral issues. I approach every animal with patience, compassion, and a focus on making them feel safe, loved, and understood.

In addition to my work in animal care, I have a growing passion for pet photography. I love capturing the unique personality of each animal I meet and would love to take some great photos of your fur babies!

Pet sitting is so much more than a part-time job for me—it’s a true passion that brings me joy and a deep sense of fulfillment. In addition to working as a Client Service Representative at a veterinary clinic and pursuing my studies in Veterinary Technology, pet sitting continues to be a meaningful and rewarding part of my life. I typically work 8-hour shifts three days a week, which allows me the flexibility to provide attentive, loving care for your pets. Despite these commitments, I remain dedicated to caring for your beloved pets and will ensure flexibility and work to accommodate your schedule.

Homestays

• I provide standard, extended, overnight, and daytime homestay options. While my availability may shift depending on existing bookings and my CSR work schedule, I’m always committed to staying flexible and doing what I can to accommodate your needs—because your pet’s happiness and routine are always a top priority.

I offer a range of personalized pet care services, including drop-in visits, dog walking, adventure walks, pet taxi, and homestays. Each service is tailored to fit your pet’s unique needs and energy levels, with flexible visit or walk durations ranging from 15 to 60 minutes.

My top priority is ensuring your pet’s comfort, safety, and overall well-being. I take great pride in being detail-oriented and reliable, always striving to go above and beyond your expectations. I’m a strong communicator and follow care instructions carefully to ensure consistency and peace of mind.

Understanding that every pet is different, I take a thoughtful and patient approach—especially when meeting new animals. I pay close attention to body language and behavior, allowing me to respond in a way that makes your pet feel safe and respected. Whether your pet is eager for attention or prefers a slower introduction, I create a calm and reassuring environment that helps build trust and comfort.

Most importantly, I treat every pet in my care with genuine love and affection—as if they were my own.

Safety is my top priority as a professional pet sitter.
